I’m Tehila Nierenberg, Founder and Director of DanceWorks in Chicago, with
17 years of dance education experience and thousands of students taught,
from 20 months through adults. With formal degrees in Business, Marketing,
and Dance Education, I bring together the artistic and business sides of
studio ownership with the real-world experience of building programs,
leading a team, growing enrollment, developing curriculum, creating
community, and navigating the challenges of running a studio every day.
My approach is also deeply rooted in Torah. My business hashkafah has been
shaped by the teachings and guidance of Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller-Gottlieb,
Rabbi Shmuel Fuerst, and Rabbi Yisroel Langer, influencing how I approach
growth, finances, leadership, employees, families, and the responsibility
of owning a business. Torah isn’t separate from the business — it’s the
fuel behind it. Together, we’ll build practical strategies around
enrollment, retention, marketing, staffing, programming, pricing, systems,
and studio culture so you can create a studio that is not only organized
and profitable, but intentional, purposeful, and aligned with the values
